This is what I figure..

The best way to keep from getting old is to keep learning. I try my best to learn lots every day.
Some may think this is easy for me since I go to school full time. Ok...Well, college doesn't really teach you anything. It's totally up to you. For me going to college is about learning stuff...not getting a degree or high-paying job. It's very difficult to explain this to advisors, instructors and professors. Actually explaining it to almost everyone is difficult.."What are you going to do with a degree in Classics?" "Whatever I want" touche'

Now..I do lots of other learning besides what Greek God sleep with what poor human woman. My latest undertaking is learning the differences in Harley Davidson Motorcycles. I'm getting pretty damn good at picking out Blockheads, Panheads, Shovelheads, and Flatheads. Still struggling with Sporters but I'll get there.

Also I'm trying to learn something about meditation. I've read "The Tao of Pooh" and also have a book on Tantra. This will take some time I think.

Now..What good will knowing the difference in motorcycles be to me? Probably very little but what difference does that make. It's the knowledge that I love, the knowing. I don't care to impress someone. I do care to pass it on. Ask my kids. I tell them more useless crap than their teachers. But they love it because it's interesting. 'nuff said.
