The weekend

We have had a very busy weekend. On Friday after I got back from picking up Bo and Alyssa we went to Wal Mart to buy groceries. That is always a fun venture but was quite different because of the lower food stamps. After we got home, Bo and I went over to play a game called "Hero Quest" with Alex. Its an old game, similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Greg came over while we were there. We stayed until 3:30am playing. Of course at some point I feel asleep while playing but Bo finished up the first quest playing my character. When I walked back to the house I found that Richelle and Alyssa were still up. We all went to bed...being very tired.
I woke up around 730 Saturday and got Richelle and Alyssa up because Richelle had tons of baking to do for a bake sale to benefit her choir uniforms. She got up and baked peanut butter cookies, banana bread, and ice cream cone cup cakes. I then ran her over to the school to catch a ride with her teacher. The bake sale was a success as they earned 76+ for their uniforms.
We went over and watched OU vs. Kansas. OU performed wonderfully as usual. They are an amazing team this year. If someone shuts down their running game they kick in their fantastic passing game and vise versa. During the game Alex, Bo and I started another quest on the Hero Quest game. We had a great time. Greg went running around while we were finishing up.
We all took a nap in the late afternoon except Greg who was still running around. Got up and basically did nothing but flip through TV channels. Reminded my self of how much I hate TV.
Got up this morning to find an email from my game friend Alan. He runs the Schmack Pack guild on Dark Age of Camelot. He added a link to my storybook to the Schmack Pack website! That is so cool!!!!! Check it out here Schmack Pack's Website .
Today the plan is to play more Hero Quest during the foot ball games and then about 4:00 I'll drive Bo and Alyssa home :((. I wish I could keep them.
I didn't add another story to my website this week. But I will probably try to get the rest of the stories done quickly because before long the Dark Age of Camelot account will be shut down and I won't have any way to get screen shots for the stories. I have two ideas right now and will need to come up with about 3 more.
Joyce got her car fixed yesterday!! Yea for her! I know it is a huge relief to have it back.
Later tonight I will probably post again. Maybe even do a rant or talk about my novel......
Thanks to everyone who has looked at the website and Blog...I've heard from Keli, Jeanne, and Alan Jr. Its been so much fun. If anyone else starts a blog I'll put a link to it on here and a quick link on my tool bar so i can keep up.
