What is this? A clean house

Every since the day I left my parents house, some 24 years ago, I've had issues. Issues with housecleaning. I'm a terrible housekeeper. I go through periods of both extremes. Sometimes is pretty clean, sometimes (most of the time) its a totaly disaster. Horribly, terribly, digustingly dirty. Why? Hell I don't know. Lazy? Depressed? I've even heard that I'm obessive/compulsive that hates how things are so I just don't keep it up. I don't know the reason but I've gotten tired of it. I don't mind the house being messy. But Horribly, Terribly, disgustingly dirty is a totally different thing. See, I'm a bit of a clutter bug. I make piles. I have piles of school book, school papers, and more school books. This I do not mind. But the rest...well, its really gotta go. So how to do this? I did a google search on the exact wording of the title of this blog. I got some TV show called clean house where they come in and unclutter your house for you. OK...so I signed up for it! But that really isn't a practical solution to my most unpractical problem. Then I found a housecleaning article (actually a number of them). I read them and found them to be, for the most part, helpful. Nice routine this lady has. Wonder if I can do that? Check it out here.
