A Little

Friday

I promised myself to post on the blog every day. I was hesitant today because I don't really have much to tell. But sometimes just sitting and typing the words flow out by themselves.

Richelle had another concert last night! They did wonderful and I got to meet more of her friends and some of her friend's families. It was really cool. Things are so different for her. When I was her age, boys hung around boys, girls hung around girls. She hangs around with both boys and girls (some matched up some not). It is such a healthy environment because they learn so much about each other and how to act in a mixed group. I'm so happy for her :)

I studied some for my latin quiz and will finish up this morning. This afternoon I will drive to Lawton to pick by Bo and Richelle's friend Alyssa. Richelle has a going away party to attend tonight for her boyfriend Jake who is moving to Wyoming. Tomorrow evening is Janet's going away party and Matt's Birthday party at my brother Jack's house. Fun time for all!!!
I felt much better yesterday. I wasn't anymore productive with school work but I wasn't feeling down in the dumps. I think the day before was causeed from tiredness and discover of new information. I usually get over both by the end of the day.

Me and my vampire author made an interesting statement yesterday and this will be the quote of the day:

"If you have to say, "I'll try" then you've already decided that you can't do it."
lol I guess this is my new philosphy. Never say I'll try...just do it if I want.

So much great latin going around my world. I wish I knew enough to post ALL my quotes in Latin, but alas, after a semester and a half I've got a long way to go!

Merry Meet and Blessed Be!

PS I try to read as many Oklahoma Blogs as I can (see link on sidebar). I usually skip the political and/or religious ones since I'm not into any of that. But I just found one that deserves the attention of my two (or three?) readers. Okie Funk: Notes from the Outback has done a great blog about Woody Guthrie (whose granddaughter just released her first album! Good stuff).
