Yes it's that time of year again. It comes faster and faster every year. And as every year I struggle to afford all that comes with it. Amazing.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Lots of family and food. Just the way it should be. I went on Tuesday evening and picked up Bo. It was a harrowing trip because I'm terrified of driving in rain, snow, and other types of inclement weather. Hey...its really the only thing I'm afraid of so thats not too bad....
We prepared the house on Wednesday. That night Keli, Kenny, Aaron, and Caleb arrived. Also Greg and Derek bearing the turkey!!!
So we had Me, Bo, Richelle, Keli, Kenny, Aaron, Caleb, Greg, Derek, Alex, Audrey, and Merhzad (so glad he came!). We ate wonderful food and had a great lot of fun.
We got the dining room table put up for the occasion and I suppose it will stay up now. So Richelle and I spent the remainder of Thanksgiving holiday putting together jigsaw puzzles. It was great fun. Greg joined in the fun and we were able to complete 3 puzzles. On Sunday Richelle and I got out a 4th to find that it had pieces missing so it goes to the trash. Now I'm on a puzzle kick and looking for more to do. We glue then and I have no idea what we will do with them....maybe sell them on ebay. If anyone has any old ones lying about that they don't want...send them our way. We will take good care of them ;)
Slow to get back into the groove of school. Had a paper due first thing on Monday. I got it done with no problem. I had to watch "Gladiator" and write about it. Most of the characters in the movie were fictional but the one character that was real "Commodus" who was the young emperor was real and that is where we started in our next section of Greek and Roman Civilization...The Awful Third Century....which Commodus started himself.
Cruised through some of blogs here at Blogger.com. Found some that were interesting but I didn't save the urls for them. Here is an interesting story found on yahoo news: Great Animal Story
I also have finished my storybook for Mythology and Folklore. I'm rather proud of it but it didn't get nominated for "Best" anything. Ahh well, I'm sure some people were lost....
I added Story Six: Theohad's Sad Story and Story Seven: A Fat Little Kobold The Conclusion
And that ends the storybook: The History of the Kobolds by Sedegund The Sad.
I sure hope that someone besides my instructor has read it. But if not I guess I'll never know the difference. But its here for those who read the blog...(I don't really think anyone does that either).
Okay well I've got a busy week ahead with Border's night on Wednesday and Harry Potter party on Thursday (Richelle and her friends getting together to watch the last two movies) and another paper due Friday on Lucian. I guess I have the usual Latin quiz on Friday also.
Ta Ta for now!!!!
Tuesday
